A centre for education, research, and production in the field of art and design
Trentino Art Academy is a solid educational institution in the field of art and design. It is a centre for teaching, research, and production, capable of engaging at local, national, and international level, while remaining firmly rooted in its territory.
It was founded to promote art and creativity in their many forms and to contribute to the training of new generations of designers.
Our three programmes—Design, Graphic Design, and Fashion Design—are accredited by the AFAM system. They award a First-Level Academic Diploma, under the agreement between the Autonomous Province of Trento and the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR).
The Project Academy
At Trentino Art Academy, students work using a specific design methodology. This is a core aspect and one of the main strengths of our institution, to the point that we could be described as “The Project Academy.”
Our goal is to train complete designers, capable of managing an entire project in a holistic way: developing their ideas, creating prototypes, handling practical production, and presenting outputs effectively.

The project-based methodology and hands-on workshops, led by specialised instructors, help develop operational skills and practical tools for the professional world.
Theoretical studies
Continuously updated theoretical studies provide the essential cultural and methodological foundations for a design professional.
Collaborations and activities
The programmes are enriched by collaborations with cultural and museum institutions, public and private organisations, and production companies, as well as activities such as events, lectures, conferences, and exhibitions, including at national level.
Qualified faculty
Courses are taught exclusively by qualified lecturers with specific professional expertise and/or internationally recognised specialists.
First-Level Academic Diploma (AFAM)
Trentino Art Academy is a legally recognised AFAM institution.
