Students living away from home can access healthcare services through general practitioners, by paying a direct fee for occasional visits (€20 for outpatient visits, €35 for home visits). Expenses may be reimbursed by the student’s local health authority (ASL), according to current regulations.
Access to the canteen at our campus or to the catering services managed by Opera Universitaria, with canteens and cafés available in Trento and Rovereto. This allows students to benefit from subsidised meals throughout the day.
Libraries in Trentino are freely accessible to all our students. Students can use study spaces, consult books, and borrow materials. Through MLOL, access is also available to a digital collection including e-books, films, music, newspapers, databases, image archives, and online training courses.
Discounted rates are available for annual public transport passes, valid throughout the province.
Students may use a name different from their legal name during their academic career, in accordance with their gender identity.
Opera Universitaria offers a range of accommodation options:
San Bartolameo Student Residence, located in the southern area of Trento in a green setting
Mayer Residence, located in the city centre of Trento
Barelli College, located in Rovereto
Apartments: approximately 200 beds in apartments distributed across various strategic areas of the city
Access to student accommodation is regulated by public calls for applications managed by Opera Universitaria. For students who meet the eligibility requirements, the monthly accommodation fee is reduced.
To apply, specific requirements must be met, including defined ISEE income thresholds and regular academic progress.
Accommodation is then assigned through a ranking system that takes into account various factors, such as the student’s financial situation, the distance between their place of residence and the university campus, and academic performance.
Once allocations are completed, any remaining available places may be made accessible also to non-eligible or non-ranked students, who may apply on an extra-call basis and must pay a higher monthly fee.
